Currently running a megan manifold and 02 housing..def wanna swap out. Thinking doing an 02 dump with full race manifold, which would you recomend?

 

Current mods? Power goals? Etc?

 

From what I've read, the MAP O2 dump is supposed to be really good.

My goal is an will be ~500 hp NON dyno queen street car, def wont drag it. I care hundreds more about handling. I wanna make the switch to speed density, pick up a good full race manifold and maybe map 02 dump...currently have megan maniold and 02 housing/ gsc s2 cams/ full tbe catless buschur exhaust/ ets intercooler and uicp licp short route/ ets intake.

 

What turbo?

 

Im running stock..my turbo upgrade will prob be a 6262, gt35r or FP black.

 

well you first need to decide on turbo choice, if you buy stock full race mani, its not going to work obviously with those T3/T4 options you listed but only with the FP black, i would do the black, you will have much better spool retain the fun factor and hit your power goal with the black.

Yeah im leaning towards the FP black. Just worried, ive heard reliabilty concerncs with them..i dont want a huge turbo that only comes to life up top, im looking for a more liveable power curve.

 

The newer FP blacks are only available with ball-bearing CHRA's.. No more journal bearing FP blacks, so the new ones are very durable/ reliable.

Awesome, how will my power curve look like on a black? Also debating between the map/toxic fab/ ets 02

 

Also, what supporting mods, if any would I need for going 02 dump and SD?
