Annoying Seatbelt Noise

Does anyone know how to get ride of the annoying seatbelt noise when you get when you don't wear your seatbelt. I mean besides actually wearing your seatbelt. I would hate to use a relay just to make it go away. Two wires lead form the seat belt to the connector under the seat. Should I just leave it connected and t tap them to a found. Each to their own individual ground. Any advice is great. Thanks

Unplug the yellow connector under the seat. You will have a SRS light, but at least you wont have the noise

Considering you dont want to wear your seatbelt, the way i said is best because when you crash the airbag wont deploy. You really dont wanna smack the airbag with no belt on

And take out that pesky windshield, you don't want that to impede your forward progress either.

Even with harmesses, your not gonna want your airbag to deploy. They are made to be used ith seatbelts, nothing else. Its gonna hurt you much more if they deploy.

I dont see why your against having an SRS light, i did the exact thing in my car since i run harnesses

Just use a buckle from an old seat belt. Any junkyard will have them (and happy to sell them as most seatbelts are destroyed in accidents and otherwise unsellable), you may find them at your local mechanic too.
I cut buckles off belts every time I have to deploy a belt to dispose of it, then keep them around in case customers complain about the chime as an "off road only" alternative, wink/nudge.

I just hate seeing any kind of light on my gauge cluster. Thats why I have a pic of my gf covering the seat belt one. Lol. And I turn up my system to not hear the noise

I just checked my tool box and I've got a half dozen of those buckles off the belts. If you want one just PM me your mailing address and I'll ship you one, just send me a couple bucks or something.

Just remove the seat belts, airbags, crash beams and roof.

I just got my evo X. I stopped at Jack in the Box and took off my seat belt to get my wallet out, and it was bonging...like 5 or so cycles, before it stopped. Very annoying! I wear my seatbelt all the time and I don't need a reminder. Anyone find a solution that doesn't involve the airbag light staying on?
