To keep or not: Exhaust

So I have a Tanabe Medallion touring exhaust currently on my car that was put on by the previous owner but, I've been contemplating on purchasing a new exhaust because I don't like the look of the tip and how far it extends out from under the bumper. So I am wondering, is there another exhaust out there in the market that I can benefit from, performance wise and with some better aesthetics.

So far I've seen a Tanabe Concept blue G Exhaust that I like, not sure if it's turbo back. Also, the AMS 3" full turbo back exhaust.

You can always switch it up if you don't like the sound/performance etc. You can sell it to recoup X amount from the purchase at the end.

If it's because of the extension or tip, you can always get those replaced or cut an appropriate length by an exhaust shop which will end up cheaper.

The Tanabe Concept G Blue is a mean looking exhaust. Make sure you listen to sound quality of the exhaust systems that you're interested in. The Medalion Touring exhaust, is a mature exhaust for those who do not wish to hear a loud/annoying sound constantly. Maybe you can hear exhaust systems from the locals in your area or find someone willing to trade you?

I would suggest the Tomei Expreme Ti if the budget allows. Its the perfect balance of all things except cost.
I picked up 46whp with a full exhaust and the same tune over stock. It sounds good at any rpm and isn't loud. I'm pretty picky with things and would highly recommend this system over others.

HMMM I own the same and it certainly doesnt stick out far---, it barely makes it past the bumper cover itself, so I am thinking you just dont like the sound and the look if you reference the TI option.. which is cool. I think its the perfect option for those that dont want the added attention--- my guess is you may be thinking the opposite. The medallion is one if not the quietest system available.. GL with your next option.

The Tomei is an attention getter for all the wrong reasons. LOUD LOUD LOUD. Everytime I daily my car and ride on the hwy above 70 I contemplate getting rid of it, but when cruising around town and hauling ***.....its like no other.

Are you running a JDM bumper?

If it bothers you that much, the cheapest option is to get it shortened at a muffler shop.
