i just bought a used evo 8 GSR, but the problem is that the evo is installed with an Ralliart ECU by the previous owner. do anyone knows the code to unlock it? so that i can read it

 

What code are you referring to? What do you mean by "unlock" it?

sorry, maybe i get it wrong. basically i can't read my ECU. me and my friend did try to read the ECU but it is lock by the previous owner. any idea how to solve this?

Simple software, open the program, leave it open and then try to read the ROM. Another issue that might cause you to have trouble reading is low battery voltage. That can be solved by having the car running when you start to read the ROM, the car will shut off and the read should start.

Those are the two simple solutions (and about all I'm good for ). If these do not work then let us know:

What cable you are using to read?
What software are you using to read?
What year and market your car is?
A specific identification of the ECU? (A pic will work wonders)
