cat direction?

I feel kinda stupid for asking this, but can someone post a pic of an installed cat? I bought the car with a high flow cat and I need to throw the stock one on for smog, but I don't know which direction to put it. I assume it matters and I don't want to put it on backwards.

I don't have a picture but I was wondering the same thing before I just recently passed my emissions. The OEM cat I bought actually looked darker on one side than the other so I assumed that was the side bolted to the downpipe. It passed so if I assume correct the inside material was closer on one side and that was the side I bolted to the downpipe. Not sure if that is clear or not but let me know and I can take a picture to help. Good luck.

So as you can see from this picture the cat bolts onto the downpipe. The other side of the cat that has threaded poles and nuts connects to the catback. I found this picture by searching and I have done it this way before.

But what if the studs were taken out and replaced with a nut and bolt... Can you take a picture of the bottom side with any of the markings to help identify? Thanks man

Thanks for the pic!
The cat didn't bolt up to my catback with the studs so I had to flip it. Hopefully that won't be a big deal, I'll only have it on for about a month.
