hi guys i just bought an evo9 rs, i just found out there are many problems,, the one that is giving me headache is the signal light cant go on, but i can still hear the sound of em. could somebody help me out??

 

So you're saying that your turn signals don't flash on the instrument cluster? Do they flash outside of the car?

 

that's right,, i just can hear the clic clic from the signal but they are not flashing inside even outside,, im thinking it might be the ETACS,, IF the problem would be the ETACS is it rapairable??

 

dumb suggestion but....did you try changing the bulb

 

i dont think so, it s not flashing on the cluster, and all the bulbs seem ok but they wont go on thats my problem

 

Yea that's what I was going to suggest, its possible it could be the bulbs. I mean the chances of both going out is pretty rare, but might be worth a try first before you start tearing into everything else.

 

i took one of the bulbs and it looks fine,,i dont think the problem would be on the bulbs,,, the turn signal in the cluster is not flashing,, side market off, turn signals off too (rear y front) what seems the problem?? it s driving me nut

 

Chase the voltage back from the bulb to the flasher relay. get yourself a voltage tester.

That's my suggestion. we can't chase your wires. You need to actually test on your own
