seized front hub

I was pulling my front hub with a gear puller to swap in a new hub... but the hub seperated... Aside from soaking it in liquid wrench or burning it with fire. Are there any other ways to get this thing off? I've already wacked with a sledge hammer a couple times.

Disassemble the lower ball joint to get the axle out to gain access to the backside. Or at least get the axle clear and go in from the back side. Typically I take an air hammer from the back to pop it out because they are usually seized, as you have discovered. Also, I'm hoping it's just the pics distortion or you have jacked the threads on your axle. Good luck

I reckon you ruined that axle by heating it up to much... Like said before, hopefully the pictures distorted or you seriously jacked your axle end up (ie by excessive heat and banging)

Wound up drilling two metal plates that I had near similar bolt spacing as the 4 bolts for the hub.
One on top one on bottom two bolts each, put the bolts in front going into the back, put the castle nut back in to protect the threads then proceeded to hammer on the plates till it finally came off in 3 peices.
Threads are fine and I didn't heat it up at all.

It might have been a little more extra stuff to remove, but I think you would have saved yourself a lot of hassle if you would have removed the axle completely, then undo the four bolts to the hub. At that point the hub assembly should have just popped right out. Without the axle shaft in the way it would have made things much easier for you imo.

hard to tell from the pics but looks like you should be able to press out the rest of that bearing.
