AEM Oil Temp gauge installed in Gruppe S pod with AEM Boost and AEM Uego. Everything worked fine until I had my car tuned recently (not sure if related or not, but that's the only thing that has changed). Anytime I turn the vent selection knob counterclockwise past the "feet" setting, I lose my Oil Temp. It just goes blank. Turning the vent back fixes the problem. Any ideas? All wires look fine.

 

The USDM Evo's climate control is mechanical. Only thing I can think of is one of the wires that power or ground gauge is somehow getting tugged when you change the vent position.

Thats a crazy a problem.

 

I'll pull everything out again and double check. If its all analog for the climate then you're probably right. I must not have looked closely enough.
