Evo 8 - 9 headlight conversion

Hey guys,

I have a ADM spec evo 8 with HID's, I just got my hands on a pair of evo 9 non-HID headlights (in transit ATM) but noticed via pics that the wiring is different and won't plug in. What's the easiest way to go about fitting these to my car, can I just unplug the HID wiring from the evo 8 headlight and click it into the evo 9 one?

Thankyou for any help!

I don't believe there's any way to simply do this conversion. I'll be honest though, it isn't my specialty.

But it definitely isn't going to simply be plug and play.

or bake open the headlights and swap housings from the 9 onto your 8's? that way you retain the stock HID's and the look of the 9's?

this.

though if you have HID headlights you should have waited to find HID headlights to buy. straight-across swaps are always easiest

Not all evo 9's came with HID. I cancelled the order it was just way to much of a hassle, I would have had to change the wiring harness and fuse box...I opted my for the DIY headlight method came out a charm.
