So i took apart my center console to check things out inside, and what i found was one of the black clips that hold the shifter cable to the white shifter assembly, was not in place. I clipped it in place, but im not sure if this is the problem for certain or not. Im not able to drive the car yet

I dont see how it could just pop out of place and end up on the other side of the shifter assembly, so that kind of makes me think its not the issue, but im sure as hell hoping it is
