Farewell to my noble steed.

Got cut off, couldn't stop and swerved to miss, lost control and found the guard rail twice at 80.

I was blessed with a true "Wednesday" Evo and you will be missed as much as family.

thanks for all the concern and good will comments guys, they have really helped on such a hard day. BUT on a brighter note...

I WILL be buying another 8 off here as soon as they cut me a check. The frame is bent so it's def totaled. Only had 59,xxx on the dash, so the value is somewhere around 15-17k. Here's the good news... Scrap price to buy the car back will be about $1200 tops....AND THE MOTOR, LSD DIFF TRANSFER, REAR DIFF, DRIVE SHAFT, AND TRANSMISSION INTERNALS ARE ALL UNSCATHED!@!@@!@!@ When I hit the guard rail the first time, the front of the car jammed into, of all things, the ac compressor pulley... snapping the belt and stopping the motor instantly. It's still perfectly in time, timing belt attached, oil in the motor and not leaking anywhere. Down pipe was crushed..... but saved the transfer case in the process. The bell housing on the tranny in cracked from front to back, but the clutch/pp/tob look to be spotless from the inspection hole.Turbo is unharmed, as is the exhaust manifold. Basically, all expensive parts are reusable, and I STILL get "totaled" money from Geico......... WIN WIN MOTHER ****ING WIN.

So much better day today guys. Not to mention I pulled off about 5k worth of parts today including my coilovers, calipers, wing, 1 tail, full exhaust from the down pipe back, ect ect ect in case something weird happens with the adjuster. I've heard horror stories and didn't want to take any chances, I took everything I could possibly take off before the adjuster even contacts me.

And no the ******* who cut me off didn't even stop, managed to see a girl in the driver seat on the way by, life flashing before my eyes. I'll leave it to you to fill in stereotype comment...... here.
