Rear wiper going wrong way?
Rear wiper going wrong way?
I got the windows tinted a few days ago. While picking up the car the guy that did the tint said what a pain. He had to take off the rear wiper assembly. Well I did'nt think anything of it until I went to use the rear wiper. It now works in reverse. If I leave it in its lower resting place It tries to hit the trunk. I dont want to take it back (obviously), I will call though. Does anyone know how this would go in reverse? I check the wiring and everything is keyed. I would appreciate any advise...

He said he had to take the whole assembly apart so i'm guessing that when he put it back together, he didnt set the gear that rotates in the right position or backwards. Now my question is why he had to take the whole thing apart.

He must have re-connected it in the up position... disconect it and turn the wiper swith so that the motor spins to the down position and re-connect the wiper...
I guess instead of cutting a hole around the round wiper assembly he took it off. It is weird though in its resting position it appears to be down but when I turn it on it goes toward the trunk lid. Well I guess I will just take it apart and see what happens... thx all.
