Warranty and dealers
Warranty and dealers
It is apparent that there are some bad dealers out there that still want to bend you over. Before you accept a dealer telling you that you have voided your warranty make sure you are aware of federal and state laws. The dealer is not the determining factor as to wether you have voided the warrenty, Mitsubishi is and they must prove it. It should be understood that if you change a part on your car, say the exhaust, it will no longer be coverd under warranty ifs it an aftermarket part. Now if they try to tell you that your engine blew up because of the exhaust, this does not fly. They will have to provide proof that the exhaust was directly responsible. Dealers can make alot more money from nonwarranty repairs vs mitsu paid warranty repairs. dont let them screw you
. Lastly, lawyers do have a purpose
