Evo7.5 (GTA) wave spring HELP!

I am buying a evo7 gta in a couple of days but I have been warned about the Wave spring in gear box.
Can anyone help me with what I need to look out for and the symptoms of a wave spring failure.

You wont have this problem because the GTA doesnt have a clutch.
