These steps might help a beginner out.

PS: I personally know a guy here No Lift Shifting on a 9 turbo tuned on e85 making 360awhp and he still runs 12.0s. I suggest working on your launch and your 1-2shift. Thats the money maker and the rest is easy. Goodluck
I will do. This track had no space to go around the water box unfortunately..

Yea I would set the 2step a little higher. Might be bogging down a little a 4.5k. Also try launching at 5.5 and part throttle untill you feel it hook then mash and go through the gears.

i bet it's the shifts. I'm not saying you don't have room to improve the 1.9 60ft, but, it can be a LOT worse than 1.9. Now, looking at your 1/8 mile time- that is telling me your shifting is slow. 8.6 sec makes me think your shifts are taking far to long, resulting in your ET: losing a lot of momentum in the shifts, and stock turbo or not, it has to spool up again.

Anyway, practice practice, practice! once you get the launch right, you'll know

from your times, it looks like you're shifting slow and shifting at redline. your 1/8 mile time should be 8.2-8.3 at 82mph, 105 trap should be 12.5-12.8 if you can get that 60ft down.

my first time at the track was 14.2, 1.6 react, 98mph trap. all stock with crap driving. it was fun though. but yeah, you should be in the 12's if you don't suck.

Reaction time doesn't affect your ET.

FWIW, my launch control is set at 5850. 4500 is definitely too low though... you're going to get a ton of bog there.

FWIW again... at the track, when you're learning, especially in an Evo, the light is the last thing to worry about.

A common thing to do is to just wait for the car next to you to go, and then a second or two after that, you can go.

It'll give you some time to practice your launch without the pressure.

I've flown lots of airplanes, and launching the Evo properly at the track is damn near as complex as getting some of these planes off the ground.

Just take your time, your RT doesn't count against your ET. Killing 0.10 out of your 60' cuts 0.20 off at the big end. The 60' is more important part of a drag strip.
