Is it a good idea to port it? And how much whp gain can I see on e85? Also how about rebuilding the whole turbo with new internals.

 

Just upgrade it. For a legit rebuild and balance, which some will point out you don't need, you are looking at 375-$475 from fp or blouch. Add in your porting of $100 and your up there. Chad will still do a BBK lite upgrade, fp can do a white or green, and map can do an ef1,2 or 2.5 all for about an extra $400 give or take. I myself was in your exact shoes, for different reasons, last week and those are your options versus cost. I went with the ef2.5.

If none of that is the route you want, send your stock manifold and hotside to CBRE and get them both ported. If you do just one you will still have a bottle neck and possible reversion. Gains will be had and at a very reasonable price.

 

How much power gain did u see from porting?

 

Mine is being installed with a bunch of things so I can't comment. Search around and I'm sure you can find an answer.
