This is a good deal but you would still need the install kit

Install kit? If he has an e8 10.5, with an Evo 9 turbo like he says then he has the right j - pipe. I don't claim to understand that combination though

I have the 71, it's a good turbo for the money. I'm around 400 whp (dyno jet est from vd - 430) with this.

Skunk 2 ported by STM
Stock exhaust mani
Megan outlet
Cbrd jmf intercooler
BR dp custom one piece long (cat delete)
Hks sport cat back
S2 cams
Fp intake tube 84mm
Stm + injen ic pipes
Fb 70 tb
Pte 1000

That's on 93 octane too, this IMHO would be a very fun e85 turbo for street. 9.8 housing would be more entertaining . Too if stock cams were in play

I have an install kit

I also have an ported hotside

An Evo 9 turbo

An Evo 8 with 10.5 hot side turbo

So this would be a fairly cheap upgrade....

Ok so I have an Evo 8 turbo with a 10.5 hot side so if I got this would I need to change the oil and coolant lines to the turbo?

VIII lines work on IX turbos with a lil tweak.

You'll need a IX J pipe unless you feel like heating and bending the VIII pipe to clear the starter.

I have used stock 8 lines on an old school green.

Ran with no problems and never had shaft play issues.

This is almost to good to pass up. So if you have a IX turbo you just swap this on and you're good to go? Do you need the install kit if you have a IX turbo already? Is the 84mm cover worth it? Even if you spend a little extra and get the 18 or 25 psi wga it's still a steal.

I'm going to the shop tomorrow to get tuned, but I'm only going to run 18 pounds because I'm on stock clutch and injectors
