3rd Gear Acceleration

Hey guys,

Just a general question, I have an 2005 Evo VIII 5spd Manual with the basic mods such as turbo-back exhaust, walbro fuel pump, tune etc. pushing 200awkw and I'm finding that 1st and 2nd gear pulls are intense, but 3rd gear feels especially weak, probably best description is that it feels as if there is compression loss of sorts after boost comes on. My boost level still hits its peak but it just doesn't pull that hard. Anyways just wondering if this is a normal evo thing as I have had it for very long and not experienced in turbo cars.

Thanks

Have you run any logs to see if the car is knocking and pulling timing?

No I havn't, is this an issue that isn't investigated when the car is being tuned? Because it was tuned about a week ago...would I have to go back to the shop that tuned it for this diagnostic?
