More than likely an answer to problems if your control arms are dirty

yeah the tar was really hard to get off, but with some elbow grease it came out pretty well.

it's really sad that people need to bash someone who enjoys having their car clean

It worked really well indeed! Have you tried it on other aluminum, more delicate parts as IC or Rad?

Even better, try using Eagle One's Mag wheel cleaner. Spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub with the scotch brite. It will look like a brand new part...

I once had an alignment guy tell me I had the cleanest suspension he'd seen especially on an older car. I used simple green to scrub most underside and painted areas and brake parts cleaner on a rag to keep my control arms and various bare aluminum parts looking like new all the time.

Oh the days where I had countless time to clean my cars.

hahahaa

I just overhauled my entire chassis and I used simple green and light wire brush for all my aluminum arms while everything was apart.... saved like 387.4 grams =p ... but now I got the freshest arms dude.
