hardcore face falling
hardcore face falling
So I recently tried to flash a tune off of a friends car onto mine which did not work whatsoever. Lead to a no start for almost a week. Got the old tune flashed back on but now my car falls on its face after 6-10 psi of boost. Then it begins to miss at about 18 horribly. All I'm running is a Forge mbc pretty much turned all the way down. The only thing I can think it is is fouled plugs. I'm throwing a cel, but won't be able to get it checked until later today. The engine is gettin the air, but just doesn't seem to know what to do with it. ANy input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Well they thought it'd be a smart idea since the cars are basically the same. Stock turbo, stock injectors, and pretty much the same on all levels. Obviously it was a lesson learned. That CEL just went away when I started the car up? So I don't know what the hell is going on. I'll see if I can't get the laptop with my tune on it back again and try reflashing it. If you switch to an MBC do you need a tune? I lost all the oem lines for my boost solenoid so I'm trying to run an MBC as close to stock boost as possible. The flash went over fine when I did it too, no error message or anything, I was using ECUflash when I did it. I'm really hoping it's just the plugs from being turned over soo much without any ignition going on in the cylinders.
