I need a comfortable seat for my Evo 8

Just like the title says. Any help would be good. And no 8/9 seats aren't comfortable to me. Just looking to buy driver side. Not looking to spend more than 600$ for it. Don't really care about brand just want it to be comfortable.

How are Evo X seats compared to 8/9 seats?

Btw for those of u that don't know me I have back problems and getting ride of my Evo isn't an option lol . Thank in advance!

Hey man, im in the same boat as you. Im not digging the evo 8/9 recaros. My wife has a 10, and I dont think those seats are any better haha. Maybe its just the placement of the seats in the 10 that makes them bad to me.

I would like to find a comfy seat for the car as well. Might just have to throw in some stock lancer seats hahaha j/k

Thank for the reply's guys. But yes i need something with more padding for my back/culo haha. My buddy has a boss 302 and those recaros r great but I'm sure they r pricey. He also had some corbeau on a 5.0 and they felt comfy aswell. I just need to find a local dealer to me do I could test some out.

I have x seats in my 8 and they're the bees knees especially since I have back problems too. No complaints here.

I have ssl in my 05 and it has been terrible on my scoliosis, I change the knob constantly. Sat in cloth recaro x's and pain still there. I've sat in my friends brides and they feel much better. To be fair though I think I'm in pain because the seats are trying to correct my back posture. Update when you find a comfy one.

To be really honest, you're not going to find a great seat for under $600 after considering mounting brackets and what not. Have you looked into foam padding to give you some addition support? Like this?

600$ would be spent on the seat alone. Brackets would be purchased afterwards.

This is why marketing sports cars for men having a midlife crisis is a bad idea... I suggest a mercedes seat...

The 04-06 Ralliart seats are extremely comfortable and still have nice bolsters. They are a direct bolt in swap.

Don't pollute my thread with ur nonsense! FYI I'm only 25, my back injury was a work accident. Even if I was 30/40/50yrs old it shouldn't matter! Keep the thread on topic plz.

You can always pick up a pair of Base Lancer seats. They should bolt right up.

I have an Evo 8 and an S2000. The Evo seats are fine for me, but could never get comfortable in the S2000 on longer drives. I bought an Obus Ultra Forme Othopedic Back Rest from Amazon and it works really well in the S2000. I can go on 350 mile drives now without squirming to try finding a comfortable position and ending up with backaches. I haven't used it in the Evo, but you may want to look at this kind of an option as well. A lot cheaper than new seats.
