Yeah, I didn't have any goals in mind when upgrading the car. If/when I do any turbo work it will be an upgraded one for 450-500. I also need to keep TQ down since I have a stock block and don't want to risk breaking anything.

Well I plan on auto-X with the car. I've dragged the car once and that was enough for me to know that it was never designed for that haha. Basically I want it to be a street machine with some weekend fun. I think 400 would be plenty for what I'm looking for. The mid to high range power band is the one I'm looking to effect the most

Since you're planning to auto-x the car I suggest looking into the FP HTA 71 and the BBK Full. Instant spool and plenty of power potential. When I upgrade I will most likely be getting one of those two.

The more I research the bbk full kit the more I like it. Seems no one has had any issues with it. Might have to start saving up now..... 2 grand yikes haha

The stock injectors will work at 400hp. If you do plan on going for more hp later on get bigger injectors.

I haven't found anyone knocking the BBK either. Apparently it's made from unicorn tears of joy.

The full feels a bit lazy vs the Lite, it's certainly not "instant spool". I went from Full -> Lite and really enjoy the improved response. IMO the Full is too laggy for autocross.

You're crazy if you don't have Forced Performance upgrade your stock IX turbo for a HTA71 or HTA73 Green. You can do that for under $950 shipped!

I didn't go with the 84mm cover because I didn't want to change out my current intake or pay the extra price. Also didn't do the oil supply line.

I live in the London area, about an hour and a half west of Toronto

What is the maximum power that can be realised from the hta73? If I do ever build the engine I would like to know that the turbo could support 600hp

Is that 600 hp at the wheels or motor? If you mean wheel hp then it would be a bit of a stretch even with e85. Do a search I do remember seeing some hta73's hitting over 500 Whp but I think it was on e85.

E85 is next to impossible to find around here. I only know of one station in Glencoe
