where can i find headlight lenses?

as the title states or if its possible, does anyone have some bodywork/paint knowledge that would know if its possible to sand down the paint off my lenses to make them clear again? i had a bodyshop professionally paint my headlights but i asked them to do the inside of the housings but instead they did the outside with 1 coat of black paint and then another coat of clear over it. am i able to get that paint off and have a clear lens again or would i have to buy new headlights?

Wet sand, no coarser than 800, then work your way up 1200-1500-2000-3000. Finish with polishing compound and a microcut like 3M. Use medium length straight strokes, never cross directions. Swirl polish the last step only.

I had the same thing on the rear lights on a car I bought.

If you are proficient with wet sanding you can have them done in an hour or two, depending on how thick the paint is and how careful you are. Certainly better than $800-1500 for replacements.

If you want to buy new ones anyway, I'll give you eight bucks for yours

thank you, honestly i kinda want to get a quote at a bodyshop because i dont trust myself nor have the tools to do a job like this. 8 bucks seems tempting but i might have to pass lol. i just dont understand why they want $1600 for a set of headlights...its ridiculous

They are worth fixing if there isn't anything else wrong. Count on probably $100 a pop or so to remove the paint, mainly because they won't know how much work it is until they get started on it.

If you think you might sell we'll talk, the $8 is negotiable
