CAS install help
Evo 1 GSR.
Two issues.
1) I have a CAS with T1T49971 stamped but can only find T1T49571 stamped sensors. Most sites list these as duplicate part numbers with just a slightly different housing. Anyone able to confirm? They look absolutely identical on the inside.
2) I will do the install with cyl.1 at TDC and read through proper install instructions but I don't understand looking at the internal 2 spoke metal shaft for the CAS why the one spoke with the notch can't just be positioned where the old one was before it cam out. I have seen some with notched disks inside of them but I don't feel that is the case here.
Yes I should let someone more experienced do this but this is the best I have, there is nobody around to help and local shops look at me like I have a square head when I say mitsubishi.
