2.3 stroker advise

Considering doing, altering my motor to 2.3 stroker, short block. Any thoughts on this would be helpful and cost estimations if possible. NZ dollars. 4g63 pretty much becoming a 64

You'll need a 100m crank from a 4g64 300ish
156mm rods 300+ and pistons 400+

Installed maybe 2500-3000us

Just depends

With short block and only changing pistons and krank do I have to get bored out wider?

No you don't, the shorter rods, pistons and different crank will make up for the .3 increase in displacement.

To do a 2.3 the standard 150mm rods are used, 4g64 or any aftermarket 100mm crank, and a stroker piston.

Unfortunately not happening. Was quoted $6000 NZ for the job so stick to 2 litre and follow through with my new turbo and manifold plans. Gutted, it out of my price range right at the minute
