should I sell my rhd evo 1or keep going with build?
OK so I have an evo 1 that I was building in to a drag only car but life seems to be taking me other directions now so it may not be possible to get this done in the next few years like I intended
so it ran prior to me taking her apart and was fun to drive on the street and first Gen evos really are the ultimate in the evo generations as they are light but my question is should I bail now or just sit on it? If I sit on it its just dead Weight and if I bail I will lose a lot of cash as I paid 13k for it which is a lot for a car just to tear it down and make a drag car out of it but I was after the performance potential of it so what are your thoughts on the situation?
I have a local Orlando guy wanting to trade me a nicer but high mile Toyota sequoia which I am entertaining.

it was low mileage and great running but the previous owner was some rich kid who hacked it dsm style with stereo stuff and in the process destroyed a lot of the interior bits.
I really only wanted it for the performance value as it's an easy car to make fast.

I'm not seeing the straight line advantage of a Evo (I/II/III) over a similary prepped 1G or even 2G DSM
What would you try selling it for? State titled as a Evo I?

I dont know why anyone would even start a "three year drag project" especially to such a rare fun to drive early evo. I have been daily driving my early evo for ten years. no desire to drive anything else. there is not a better driving car on the planet (sub 30k) Do us a favor and sell it to someone who will put it to better use.
