Thumbs up Got my Evo back!!

Hey everyone Recently had a ton of work done to my Evo VIII by STM Performance. Most of the work was repairs and upgrades including FP Red, S2 cams, Invidia 02 housing and a lot of other other parts. The car came out amazing pushing almost 400 AWHP and torque. I recommend them for anyone looking to have work or tunes done even repairs if needed. Awesome group of people over there and cant thank them enough for the time and effort put into getting my evo to where it is. And they also have good pricing!! Thanks STM!!

Almost 400whp? Is this a very conservative tune? The fp red is a pretty capable turbo isn't it?

Wow how conservative is that tune because 400whp is nothing for the red

Bet you are glad to have it back! Congrats!

Guys understand that Stm's dyno is a mustang and reads pretty low. I believe a 450-475 whp car on Stm's dyno is a High 9 sec capable car.. If I remember correctly .. Thought that's what Emery told me if he would chime in

Nice! I can't wait until I make more power as well. 400whp must be a fun street car.

It is conservative im still running pump gas. I do plan on changing over to E85 down the road and i was told i should push 500 whp. But the FP red is absolutely great and the tune makes it pull very smooth!

+1 on STM, I live in Chicago and I STILL buy all my **** from them. Brian is super nice and helpful every time I call. Customer service seems like it is non existent these days, but these guys are the exception to that rule bar none.

Geez these threads get off topic quickly. A number's a number & I don't think that's what the OP was posting for or he would've been posting in the dyno section.

Congrats on getting the car back, & thanks for a useful review. As long as it puts a smile on your face that's all that matters. Pics???

+2 on STM. I usually make the 3 hour drive 2-3 times a year to STM either for work, tuning or open-houses. I enjoy chatting with the staff and they have always treated me well.

OP - nice job on the dyno numbers. I've also dyno'd at STM and despite what some of the people in this thread have said, 400whp is a great number for pump gas, on a street car. Sure the red is capable of more, but not all of us want to run our cars to the ragged edge. I was able to hit 396whp with my EF3 setup and some of the less intelligent members on here said the same thing to me.

Bottom line, I'm sure the car is a blast to drive and STM customers can sleep easily knowing Emery tuned the car and not some dude in his basement, via e-tuning and virtual dyno.

Very nice, similar to the route I plan to go. What injectors did you run with? Any reason in particular you went with that cam? Would like to know for my master plan lol.
