Why are jdm headlights so much money and hard to find. Why didn't more Evos come with jdm headlights

 

You answered your own question! Yes they are hard to find, hence why they are expensive. I bought my bnib evo 8 jdm lights for 1k. I got lucky

 

Yea sorry answered my own question there. Yeah they are hard to find and so expensive. You got a great deal o. Your jdm headlights. I can't find them new for under 1600 bucks. Can't see spending that

 

I bought mine on this site, the guy had two more sets. But that was awhile back. They pop up on here once in awhile.

 

there are threads on here that show you how to get that jdm look if thats what your looking for, it involves baking them to split the case and painting the insides seem like a cool idea. i cant bring myself to do though o.O im afraid of fudging it up

I opened mine up and painted the housing black......DIY wasnt hard at all

because they know there are people like you out there that are willing to pay ungodly amounts for headlights that do the exact same function as your US counter-part stock ones.
