Being totally honest, I might spend about 15 minutes reading the actual insurance policy and checking to make sure there is no slam dunk to help my cause.

But more than likely, I'd buy a new wheel/tire/lug nuts and move on, let insurance cover the rest, and move on with life. Hoepfully no one was hurt - be glad if that is the case.

Legal action? For a wheel? Not a chance. Just not worth the effort, time, and money, even if you have a case.
