how much horsepower achievable without tune?

just wondering how much hp and torque are possible without getting the ecu remapped/tuned or just running a standard ecu with bolt ons? is out of the question that you could hit 300hp/tq with
full exhaust,
3inch 02housing,
intake,
exhaust manifold,
cams,
licp,
uicp,
wastegate,
boost controller.
i think thats most of the usual bolt ons feel free to add or delete parts to this list just wondering as im not too keen on getting my ecu messed with at the moment

The tune is honestly the most important part. Not only will you net more power but more importantly you will be making safe power.

Whats the concern with getting your ecu "messed" with? You may not be too familiar with the stock ecu but you dont need any additional piggyback system for example.

Not getting a tune would be the stupidest thing you could do. Having all these partsnand notntuning it causes the ecu to dump extra fuel or not enough and messes with your afrs and leads to knock which leads to bent rods and blown motors

You also need to be able to adjust timing as you adjust boost and in order to adjust that timing you need to tweak your fueling.

As the two above have said. I wouldn't even be driving around with those mods without a tune. It just not safe and WILL lead to a blown motor. In this day and age with email tuning from vendors, there is no excuse to not spend the extra couple hundred dollars to not only make the most power out of your set-up but keep it in one piece for tens of thousands of miles. Good luck with your build.

Honestly with all that you would probably make less than stock power because the car would have no idea how to run correctly.

The better question would be "How long can the car last without a tune?". Tune is hands down the most important mod for your car. Its not only about adding the horsepower, its about making the car run safely and efficiently with the mods on the car.

You mean....

OP, with all those mods, AND a tune, yes 300hp is easy. Without a tune... Good luck.

You're better off just getting Exhaust, Intake, o2 housing, LICP and getting a tune, and you'll have more power than getting everything together with out one.

Tune is important. Not only will a good tune bring out the most HP you can get but it will probably help your car run/drive better as well as help it last longer. The mods you listed are not even safe to drive with untuned IMO. Spend the $200 and get a tune from Tom @ TSComp (if you have Evoscan/Tactrix Cable) or go to a nearby shop that is good with EVO's and get a tune for a couple hundred on a dyno.

you will make more power with just a tune on a completely stock car then installing all that stuff without a tune.

ev0ikon is right....
