custom exhaust, which muffler?

Ok I'm planning on doing a custom exhaust on my evo 9, do you guys know whats a good muffler? i don't want anything loud, you guys know the G35/350Z have a nice sound when cruising but gets alittle loud at WOT? well I want something like that on the loudness level not the same tone....i was thinking of megan muffler or do you guys know any quiet muffler?

I'm not sure you can get them in the States but I've got a Xforce muffler on a custom made 3" exhaust with a single resonator. Nice rumble at idle, not overly loud. BUT hit WOT and it screams

why dont you just buy a full turboback? i think there is a greddy one which isnt too loud.

There is a bunch that are no too loud. Your best bet is to watch a bunch of youtube videos of exhausts you are interested in. Some people make some good quality videos and you can make an educated purchase

one last question...what do you guys think if I just run a DP with an electric exhaust cut off and leave the rest stock?

One of my friends has that and I really like driving his car with it. Keeps so much attention from cops away from you. They don't hear you coming anymore. The stock exhaust looks decent too coming out the back. He has a jdm rear and just keeps the tip clean. I love the sound of that wide open when WOT. Sounds much better than my car with a full tbe in my opinion. It is crazy loud and sounds great. He has problems with it though. Pretty sure it is stuck closed right now

try the wg actuated one. it sounds pretty cool. i think maperformance has it.
