I can't imagine coming out and seeing my car like that. Probably some mix emotions. part of me probably want to cry. Another part would think "yay Evo X". Then back to "we had so many great and memorable times together. " Then "you deserved it for all the pain in my wallet you have cause."

There'll be tears of joy and tears of pain........but cetainly tears.

 

This is crazy man. I saw this on the NW Evos fb page. I woulda flipped my **** had this happened to me. Hope you find a new one soon.

 

well we are slowly losing evos to the point of extinction...

 

They paid me pretty good I might say. Took what they gave me a picked up a 11' X Phantom Black. It's eh. Got all the bells and whistles but just seems like a different car. Don't get me wrong, i like it, i like it a lot. It's just not the same as my IX.

To make a long story short. They tried to pay me 16 for my 2006 EVO IX with 80K miles. They has found one for sale in OR going for about that. My researched showed the car they used as the "example" was a branded title. So i *****ed and they gave me a sizable counter offer at......."drum roll".... 25K! Yeah boy! But still.... =( I miss my IX and i refuse to change my lock screen picture on my iPhone.

Anyways it worked out. Statefarm apologized for the ignorance of using the branded title vehicle and paid me nicely. If only they knew what the repercussions would have been if they refused to counter..

Anyways I ripped all my audio out of the car and it's FS. I'll give whoever a kickass deal if your local. PM me for details.

 

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Well, other than replacing a IX with a X. I'm sure they knew it was a branded title when they offered you that. Unfortunately for them you aren't an imbecile.
