SSL Evo ix stock subwoofer
Anyone have experience either powering the stock sub with a separate amp than the speakers(if it's even worth it), or Fitting an aftermarket woofer into the stock box on an SSL evo?
You'd be better of running an after-market amp and sub then the stock one if you're looking for more bass. The stock sub box is really thin I'm not sure if any aftermarket sub would fit into it.

I already have a 500 watt alpine amp from my old woofer in my other car. Was thinking about either hooking the stock sub up to that so it has its own amp and isn't sharing with the speakers. Or getting a shallow woofer to replace the factory one. I want to keep my trunk space.
