is this evo worth it
is this evo worth it
Well let me start out by saying hi all names drew looking to get my self Into an evo but here in md there truly is none it seems lol I found a few kinda close but I came across a 2005 evo high mileage and modded but cheap I was wondering wat ever one here's opion is all my buddy's have subies and there just not for me lol here's the link for the car I just need honest opinions thanks http://www.littlebeaverautosales.com..._225720911.veh
depends on what you want to do with the car. Are you good at doing your own maintenance? Do you have the money to put into it if a major part goes? I has alot of miles and things will start to break or get worn out. I would buy it if you are looking for a car to auto cross, track, rally cross, or just build. if you are looking for a DD still not bad price but just be prepared if something break to put money into it.
Really a weekend car and maby a few times a week if that more of a toy and yeah im a diy kinda guy chanhe all my own oil and most stuff beside like rebuilding a motor and stuff lol but I figured it be a good car to build on like build block etc the mods kinda have me shaky I no some one had to of dogged it
I would inspect the work with the mods. Do they look sloppy? The miles are pretty high, and depending on how it was driven you could be in for a money pit of a vehicle. If you feel that you can afford a worse case scenario of things going wrong I would at least consider it. I'm sure if you can hold out, you'll find a much better deal somewhere else. I wouldn't pay more than $10k for that car. I mean they're selling it for $13k, and they probably will add another $1k is "lot fees" or "dealer fees" on top of that.
If it was me, I would keep looking.

I contacted them asked for service records and such to see if it is truley a 1 owner no word back im still looking i wanna spend like 25k tops just hard to find stock low miles lol there ither like 70k miles modded or high miles modded can't seem to win lol
Though it took me a good month of searching to finally find it, but the wait was worth it
I'm curious what a "stage 3" turbo is. And considering what the mr 6 speed is capable of handling tq wise I'd keep that in mind based on the mileage. Also no engine bay pics?? Really?
