Quartermaster clutch

I bought a quartermaster throwout bearing used and the female threaded end that is supposed to thread into the factory line is cross threaded from the previous owner. I called quartermaster and they do not sell the lines separately but they told me that they take a -3 an line and I can use that. Any idea on what the tread size is on the line of anyone can give me an idea that would be great!!!

Thread size? If you just get a -3an line made locally or order one it will have the correct size on the end. I believe it's also called bspt. Iirc, -an lines are a fraction of 12, so -3an is 3/12" or 1/4". You can't just go to the store and get a 1/4" thread size, it has to be a self-sealing thread like -an lines use
