I think I got some wax on my Evo 9 SE front lip and it has become discolored and blotchy throughout it. Have tried everything to restore it to black but no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had a similar problem?

you haven't posted any pics.

Hard to determine how far gone your lip is.

if theres still hope, id use polish or cutting compound to see if we can get it off the clear-cloat.

if not… you may have to just sand it back and coat it…

note: i would spray a coat of clear-coat after.. which they left out. it give it the gloss finish and protected.

 

Basically what this guy said^^^. I would suggest using a clay bar and then go over it with some cleaner wax with a microfiber towel. If that doesnt work, you can try wet sanding the clear with high grit sand paper (1500-2000) then buffing it with rubbing compound. Just be careful not to sand through the clear.
