Condenser replaced

So I just replaced my condenser. I found that it needs 0.5 floz of replacement oil. Which is shown as sun pag 56. Do I just add it into the condenser?

Also what else should I do while replacing? AC related.

Yes, you can put it right in the condenser. Replace the orifice tube/filter.

i used that orielly can of r 134a yesterday because the ac was bogging my car to the point of almost stalling, it has the oil mixed in with the refrigerant, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't sun pag, I read that on the hood but just went for the orielly stuff that says ultra synthetic NASA developed.

Anyways it fixed my AC and it doesn't bog at all anymore. Ran ice cold at first, but after driving a while it went back to kinda medium, it was just too hot. But it keeps me cool enough and runs much better now.

I honestly don't think it's a huge deal what brand of lubricant you use.

Oh and sometimes you can get away with just hosing down the condenser instead of replacing it, dirt accumulates on it over time from driving and clogs it.

You can also clean off your electrical connector to your compressor with electrical cleaner.

Some people adjust the clutch with shims on the compressor. You can look that up and check.

I havn't had to do most these things, but I will eventually.

Lubricant matters. You'll blow your compressor. to properly refill your ac with oil and refrigerant use a machine and pull a long vacuum before changing.

Do the evos have such an item?(filter/orifice tube) If so pls advise as to where. I want to change mine.-- I know the 'merican cars use them, couldn't find a reference for the Evo when I was replacing the compressor and drier-- its not in any of those lines.

As for the Pag oil, you can add it anywhere in the systems, many of the r134 cans have it already added ( read the lable) and if you need the liquid pag oil they sell it at most of the parts stores If you need pag 56 for instance, just ask for it---its not mitsu specific.
