So I bought an evo 8 about a year ago, it is stock for the most part but I recently went to install a new clutch and found out it has an evo 4 front clip? Meaning the whole front of the car is an evo 4. Was wanting some help because I wanted to start building the car but apparently it has a evo 4 transmission and engine. I dont know where to even start now. Help please

 

Post some pictures. Most of the people on here that know about the 4's are from other countries. Maybe they can chime in to help or somebody who has converted a mirage into a evo replica

Just take pictures of everything. People will spot the differences. The whole situation seems a bit strange to me.

I think what is trying to be conveyed here is you bought an Evo 8 but the driveline was swapped with an Evo 4? You don't actually have a 4 front clip cosmetics?

 

That's nothing. My mechanic told me I had a '87 Mustang GT front end, a toyota corolla dash, a 3000gt cat, and Chevy silverado rims. It runs terrible.

 

strangest thing about all this is that an EVO lasted a year without breaking
