What mods are you MOST pleased with?

Or what mods surpassed your expectations? Im not asking what mods to do, but i figure we have a thread for what mods we regret, why not make a thread for mods that yielded the best results. Could be one brand that worked well as opposed to another or whatever simply WORKED well.

My Evo is pretty much stock and I started my mods with bushings. Torque Solutions shifter base and under hood, beatrush drive shaft bushings definitely cleaned up my shifting. I added a blox 490 and that helped as well.

So what are you happy with?

FP turbo FTW! but the combo of mods is what really sets everything off. My current setup has me very happy!

So far i've read mixed reviews on FP products but im glad yours is working well. What do you have FP black? And i agree planning out your mods makes all the difference.

do tell and explain, why?
(i am interested and a bolt ON turbo will be one of the mods i will look into in near future.)

OP, well for me… so far i haven't spent, big.

THe intake has made gear changes, much more fun.

where i am, Atmospheric BOV are illegal. It needs to be recirculated and you could not hear it from the stock air box.

many workshops have praised the stock air box and said it handled decent power and coolair/aftermarket air filters were a waste of money.

well spent $1000 on Gruppe-M … looks nice but as i mentioned, you can really hear the EVO VIII MR BOV

buschur rear diff mounts (stiffening the rear diff mounts in general). made the car MUCH more civilized to drive, clutch action/shifting/driving in general all smoothed out wonderfully.

I was extremely pleased with my Buschur tbe. The gains were good, fitment was excellent, it looks clean, and sounds fantastic. That with a Hallman mbc and a tune made for a fun evo.

Two mods that I'm very pleased with lately that are simple but very effective is the Muse 02 dump and the Spoolin Up COP.

Binary seat brackets for me. Being 6'5", I need all the extra head room I can get. At the track, there isn't much room for a me+a helmet.

Tons of mods that come in close 2nd.

+1 for me as well. Although now that a pinion bearing is starting to go bad, its making an annoying high pitched whine so its not on my favorites list right now, so for now the diff is taking a step down and being replaced by next favorite mod, Tanabe Front swaybar. Aboslutely no downsides from having this bar since I put it on.

I will be looking to order these then, before i start adding power mods I want to smooth out the shifting as much as possible since mine is DD.

I've read only good things about the Spoolin UP COP, what did you notice the most with them?
