I've had the car 4 weeks and seems I've got a rattle coming from under the rocker cover!

Tends to appear around 1500rpm and go around 2krpm it doesn't increase with revs either and it's so annoying?

Any chance it's the wastegate flapper arm rattling or is it for sure under the valve cover?

 

Yeah if am driving off throttle it rattle ! But if I slightly put my foot down it goes!

If I build boost it's gone, so am thinking it's that too! If it is? Easy to sort out?

 

While I haven't had to do it myself, adjusting the preload is fairly simple as long as u can reach the rod. Worst case would require removing the radiator on the Evo. Just Google "how to set wastegate preload" in YouTube. Typically I think you adjust it so half the pin on the wastegate arm covers the hole in the adjuster rod.
