Guys question... Im boring of my evo 8 tailights and i was looking on youtube and i found this video ( ) And i dont know if anybody have any experience on spraying their talights or any advices? Or if this really looks good? I just want to know because i already bought 2 cans of VHT Nite Shades Red and i dont know if its worth it or not... Thanks!

It can look good if you are careful and steady. Note the opacity will vary if you are not steady.

Kiss your reverse lights goodbye though, unless you want to be one of those guys that swaps the reverse lights with the turn signals.
I'd just save for proper ones. Red reverse lights are pretty dumb

 

or pls save for replica ones.

 

At this point since Depo makes replica's I'd buy those. Obviously OEM would be best, but since you're trying to do it on a budget, do "ballin' on a budget" correctly and buy knockoffs

 

^^^^ has anyone bought a set yet to see if the reverse lights are red on them too? They sure look like it from the pictures, but I would think they would not be able to pass DOT that way, unless they are calling the turn signals the reverse lights to pass certification.

Yeah one person posted pictures with the reverse lights on and said they looked worse than they were.... them bastards looked like stop lights in the picture. I have a hard time imagining them looking anything other than "lighter red".

I'd love to see an equal-surroundings shot of a JDM reverse light and depo.
