what do you say??? pls help!!
hi guys,i will post two pics,of my front undertray and rear diffuser.
rear diffuser is custom made by ME.i think it looks good. : )
but the question is about the front undertray.
i damaged my OEM plastic one and my friend gave me this aluminium rally undertray, but im wondering if this one is good ,and what do you think, and if it has aerodynamics almost as good as the OEM plastic one.i dont know if you should go with this one and modify it little bit or just get the OEM plastic one.
thank you for your toughts

Hi there,
I believe your under tray may be better than the OEM one as it appears to be longer, covering more of the front.
it looks to be more aero than the OEM one, And to be honest it looks great for a custom job.
The aftermarket aluminium are quite expensive, but claim to be more aero than stock also.
The rear one covering the JDM diffuser looks good.
however, it is hard to tell as it is just a cover and obviously was not wind tunnel tested for drag.
I personally believe it, should be better than without having one.
But in saying that, in normal day to day driving. I don't think it would make much of a difference with or without.
There is a video online on youtube on the BNR34 (Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec)…
Where they have tested it on the track and travelling at 180km & high-speed cornering.
Obviously they found that the car was actually unstable without the Carbon fibre rear diffuser tray & front tray.

nice answer.i was reading yesterday little bit ,,about undertrays here on forum, especially about the OEM.and they say it cools the tranny, diff, etc.and mine is longer so i was wondering if its ok.
i know it should be better, but still if you see it from the angle (from the side)looks like it will lift the car.

Like i said champ, its hard to tell. Unless there are real figures with aerodynamic drag from the wind tunnel. You will never know and wgeatever is sold out on the market. you will just have to take their word for it.
Your front tray looks similar to the Carbing tray for the EVO 8 & 9.

except that it has vents facing down to direct the air flow to help cool the engine bay.
I personally wouldn't worry about it champ.
It has to be better than not having any.
thank you,,,
