Here you go. Take off the aero (sell), suspension(sell) and buy skid plates and rally suspension and a tune for the restrictor and go have fun. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...rally-car.html

That car sold. And it was not a rally legal cage so it would have been a bad choice.

What are the odds that the thread-starter has the required experience to drive an AWD turbo in a RA event? And given that there's no matching thread on Special Stage, what are the odds that he or she has any idea what he or she is doing?

You can drive AWD turbo cars at any NASA Rally. RA rules are just dumb in regards to that. Do you think all those famous guys had to follow those rules? There are other ways to get permission to run in RA events too if you know what you are doing.

I have no idea if the OP is for real or not but i might as well try and direct him in the right direction.

Yes, you can run an AWD turbo in a NASA event without experience. I should have mentioned that (out of respect for Anders, as well as completeness). As to folks running an AWD turbo for their first RA event; they all had experience in said cars elsewhere. RA doesn't require that your previous experience be with them; just that you aren't wet behind the ears. With that said, I agree that it's dumb and there have been several statistical analyses to show that not allowing newbs to run AWD turbos has no real effect on the likelihood of a bad off. In fact, it only seems to increase the odds of a gentle off, which is significant predictor of later safety.
