So I'm new to this forum and new to the evo fam. Just bought my first evo (dream car) and still in awe! I'm looking for inspirations and advice to accomplish my next goal in upgrades such as tuning, cosmetics etc. Help to get my mind focused and ideas going

Congrats and welcome! My advice, set realistic goals, and dont try and reinvent the wheel. There are already well established paths to getting the most out of your evo without wasting money. Get with a reputable tuner to discuss your goals before spending any money on parts etc.

Urgent

So recently I've been having a slight problem and want to know what it could be. When I press my brakes around speeds of 45+ there is a strong vibration in my steering wheel? And clues? Also would like to know of. Any places that specialize in evos other than force fed because it is closed on the weekend and with my schedule I won't be making it there during the week days anytime soon! Im in the Jacksonville, NC area

Sounds like it could be a set of warped brake rotors.

Rotate and balance the tires and see if it goes away. Warped rotors usually result in a pulsing at the brake pedal.

Check your rotors and tires. Double check the tightness of all your bolts that could effect your front geometry.

As far as first upgrades... Knock out your belts, oil changes, diff fluid, etc then I would move on to things like bushings for everything. Diff bushings, shifter bushings, even control arm bushings if they've got enough wear. These are the first things I did to my evo when I purchased it a few months back, and it was all completely necessary to ensure a long life and a smooth ride.

Welcome to the forums and I as well advice you to do the maintenance first. I just took my car to road race for the timing belt. Getting the brakes done next and new tires. Enjoy the car man!
