Evo 9 on Ohlins R&T suspension

I have just installed the Ohlins R&T set on my Evo 9 and it feels great

Since the suspension is still in its "running in" phase, I would like to know...

1. How long is this "running in" period? Few hundred km?
2. SHould I set it to softest during this period?

i don't know what a running in period is, but i believe you're never supposed to set adjustables at their softest or stiffest - but that might only apply to the cheaper stuff

Im guessing he means a "break in period" but I have never heard of such a thing with suspension components.

I too was told that it isnt good to have the dampers set to max stiff or max soft either but it was more in the context of if you need to go max soft or max stiff then your spring rates are off.

I'm not sure its detrimental to the actual damper but personally mine will never be set to max soft or max stiff.

OP- if you are concerned about breaking them in properly, to play it safe I'd set the damper right in the middle (15 clicks) and put some miles on the car to make sure there aren't any strange noises. I'm not sure it'll make a difference but it couldn't hurt.
