Hey guys am I right in thinking that in the US all evo 8s and 9s have the RS rear diff as std???

 

if your asking if they are LSD---then yes.

I am gonna replace my blown up evo 9 super ayc with the mechanical diff :-)

 

But not a rs diff like the jdm ones??

 

Last I heard, US spec evos have some sort of older version on the LSD mechanical rear diff, and the JDM RS spec Evo has a 1.5 LSD

 

oh ok wonder which is the better/stronger diff then??.....

 

Ok had a few emails with evo 9 diffs for sale which is great.

But before I buy off a member on here can anyone confirm that the USDM evo 9 rear diff is the exact same as the JDM Rs rear diff?? From my understanding the JDM is 1.5 way lsd and so is the later USDM??....
