Bleed your clutch, and adjust the pedal so it's basically all the way up. Buy a better clutch...

You shouldn't have lockout issues with an Exedy twin... at that point it might be trans or fluid/line related.

Thank you guys for the response. Bleeding the clutch is one thing I haven't tried yet so deff need to do that!! As far as the synchros being shot im still not ruling them out but like I said it doesn't have bad synchro symptoms I've seen plenty of those. And the clutch has around 25-30k on it and I have never launched the car once. Never tracked it or dragged it or anything all the hard driving I've done has always been from a roll. Thanks for the input everyone ur being real helpful

Do you have stock motor mounts? If so I would buy inserts like AMS sells. Do the front, cam side, and trans side. This could help get rid of the lockout.

Hey everybody just wanted to update my shifting issue Incase anyone wanted to know or If they are dealing with similar issues. This weekend I bled my clutch and what came out was horrifying. Just black ****ty fluid I couldn't believe it the previous owner said it was changed so obviously he was lying cuz that was just old fluid. I bled it out well on Friday and then Saturday I used a brake flush machine we have at work which basically pressurizes the master while feeding new fluid into while a speperate hose sucks out old fluid from the bleeders. I used this and bled out all four brembos and again bled out the slave cylinder and changed over to high performance DOT 4 fluid in the process. The clutch immediately felt better, I then drove it around for a bit to heat up the clutch and then readjusted the clutch pedal except this time I followed jack from jacks transmission's advice on how to do it. Evo moto has a great write up on it but they only really show you how to move the pedal up and down jack actually shows the process of how adjusting the pedal and checking your travel at the slave cylinder and going back and forth actually really gives you the best amount of travel in the clutch so your sure you aren't getting clutch drag and the u are fully disengaging. It is on YouTube look it up if u haven't seen it. But I did this and till today the car is running great. Shifts great and goes into third along with any other gears at high rpm with no issues. It's only been two days so I am not trying to get to excited but the trans deffinantly feels better. I don't know if it's the pedal adjustment or the new dot 4 fluid or bleeding the clutch or all 3 that helped but I'm just happy it's better cuz I really don't have anymore options lol I will report back in a week or two and thanks everyone for their input and advice

Glad it's working out for you so far. I need to flush my fluid as well, I have a feeling that's probably what's causing my crappy shifting. It's on the to-do list for when I go on vacation, hopefully in September.

Glad to hear. It's usually the clutch/slave that causes issues like that. I'm just surprised how many people blamed the synchros -_-
