Love your signature.. especially the comment on the "leave the street to the big boys.." tell that kid to race my evo.. I'll leave him so far behind he'll need binoculars just to catch up. My Evo goes 172 mph now (7000 rpms)... and i'm sure a lot of the other evos here can go faster (especially those with aftermarket ECUs)
you have to understand the mentality of american muscle cars, and their owners....they cant have helpless 4cylinders take them on...and yes most evos will destroy a 67 mustang, windsor or not... and thats a stock evo, a 67 mustang would fall apart at ohh.h. about 80mph

When I first got the car in June, I put about $2000 in Audio equipment. And a boost controller.

I would comment, but my girlfriend may actually want to look at what I have written on this "damn board that I spend so much time on" and my *** would be in the dog house. Lets just say that I have spent $100+ in this last week and an spending another $1000 this weekend. I don't even want to think about what I have spent up to this point, but it has been substancial.
And even worse, I see no end in sight.

far more than I ever thought I would and it does not appear to be stopping. Over 4k already and am still on the list for a complete Buschur Stage 4 package with cams and a reflash. Will also add upgrade rear sway bar and rear strut bar. Would have spent it already but still waiting on the cams to clear customs.
So in the mean time I spent 4k on other stuff like DVD/stereo/tv tuner, window tint, gauges, turbo timer, nre rear badging, new antenna, door sill skuff plates, rally art connards for the front bumper - factory paintged to match, panther xp racing brake pads, brake cooling air guides, stainless steel braided brake lines, motul rbf600 racing brake fluid, intelliglow needles for the stock gauges, magnet racing numbers, bell M2 racing helmet, track fees at verious DE events, scca fees for auto cross events, basically everything I can think of.
The real stuff is yet to come with the Buschur package and a new set of rims and racing tires...and maybe a new clutch too -- I think I may have a problem
