Back in the Evo game.
So since I left Okinawa in 2012 and got rid of my 96 Evo IV I bought a cheap DSM FWD that I put 2 solid years of blood sweat and tears into it.The GST is a great running car after I replaced almost ever part on it! I am in the process of the clutch right now. But I decided I need something I can put a car seat in or two...so I just bought a clean 06 Evo IX MR 107k on it. Got it for a good price from a used dealer in El paso Texas. I love it so far. Has a exhaust and intake that's pretty much it and I plan to keep it very mild for some time. Just work out the little bugs like the crazy alarm BS that someone put on it and the vacuum lines look all over the place. Long story short im back into Evoland and im stoked. I ll post pictures tmmr after I clean it up a bit and its light outside.
Congrats on the purchase! I recently picked up my first 06 Evo as well. Love it in comparison to my 1st gen gsx
Good luck with the new car seats as well. That's why I had to sell my '14 gt so I could fit them in the car!

IT was cheap no payments went to mods. She is pretty fast did everything the proven and right way. DSM LINK V3 is an awesome tuning tool. I am still in love with her she cant take turns like an evo lol!
Nice, mine is silver as well. I paid a couple grand more but it had 49k miles on it and it was unmolested. Hope everything checks out good for you!
