Hi do I just install the gsc s1 cams like you would install stock cams or do they need dialing in with a dti gauge and a degree wheel cheers

So I would install them to standard timing marks then get my tuner to dial the adjustable pulleys in

I have got the adjustable pulleys to fit so if I just put the s1 cams to standard timing marks and then get my mapper to set them up on the adjustable pulleys is this right way of doing it

Not trying to pick a fight or anything but can you expand on this comment? It's hard to argue that dialing them in isnt the best approach but to state that it's a total waste of time if you don't seems a bit harsh...

no fight here , harsh maybe but fact it is , ive fitted many different types over the years and ive yet to find a set that were exactly at 0/0 on the gears when dialled in , some can be a degree or 2 out on cam the gears , one set i fitted xxxxx 285 s , they were 5 deg out on inlet and 4 degress out on exh .

It is a fact that cams should be degreed upon install. It is also well known that some cam companies are better than others (GSC being one of the good guys). Also of note is that nobody ever said aftermarket cam gears were dead on zero either.
